Global superstar Lewis Capaldi will head to Blackweir next summer to headline a massive outdoor show – joined by special guest Jacob Alon.

After unprecedented demand that saw the biggest ever rush for tickets across both pre-sale and general sale, Lewis Capaldi is currently blazing through a triumphant 200,000-ticket sold out 17-date UK arena tour – and he shows no sign of slowing down as he announces his biggest ever UK and Irish headline shows for next summer, including two huge nights at Blackweir Fields on Tuesday 30th June and Wednesday 1st July.

Joining him in Cardiff is BRITs Critics’ Choice and BBC Introducing Award winner Jacob Alon. The Fife-born, Mercury Prize-nominated artist has quickly established themselves as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary music, earning widespread acclaim for their debut album In Limerence and powerful live performances. With a voice that commands total attention, Jacob Alon is the perfect addition to what promises to be two unforgettable nights.

The announcement comes during Lewis’s current sold-out 17-date UK arena tour, his first return to touring in two years, which has been sending fans into overdrive — debuting new songs alongside a run of era-defining hits and serving as a powerful reminder of the connection he commands. The response has been electric, with critics delivering four and five star reviews across the board, continuing this week with a run of three sold-out shows at London’s The O2.

Lewis’s return has already seen him top the charts, bagging a monumental sixth UK number 1 single with his comeback track Survive, becoming the fastest-selling single of 2025. The success also marked his biggest ever opening week sales for a single, surpassing both Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga for this year’s biggest opening week, placing him alongside the likes of Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga and Queen in achieving six UK number 1 singles — and overtaking David Bowie, Katy Perry and The Police in the process.
